Japanese sweet potatoes are characterized by their moist texture and sweetness even when baked as is.
Try it with vanilla ice cream, maple syrup, and matcha green tea for a slightly special sweet treat.
How to make it
Wash the sweet potato well and bake it in an oven (toaster oven) for about 30 minutes (100-120℃).
When the sweet potato is baked until soft inside, turn off the heat and leave it in the oven (toaster oven) for about 15 minutes (heating at low temperature increases the sweetness). Once the sweet potato is cooled, cut into half.
Place the sweet potato on a plate and top with ice cream and maple syrup. Sift the matcha powder over the top.
